Breastfeeding or Bottlefeeding here are your PRO & CONS

A question that haunts many mothers with a newborn child. What do I do? Will my baby still get the best nutrients from baby formula? What if I can’t breastfeed for a long time?

All of these questions have crossed a mothers mind’s at one time, and in the end every mother had to make a decision on what she was going to go forward on. There are many benefits to bottle feeding as well as plenty healthy benefits for breastfeeding.

Here are some pros and cons to breastfeeding;

+Breast Milk is already at the perfect temperature for your child

+NO artificial or unknown substances

+Breast Milk is always with you and ready to use

+There are no leftovers that have to go to waste if the baby does not drink all the milk

+No money spend for formula

-Infections and pain in nipple are are very common

-Absolutely no alcohol

-Mothers diet has to be watched

-Breast pads have to be used most of the time

-Public breastfeeding can’t always be avoided

As shown, there are many good and bad things about breastfeeding. Breastfeeding does not take time to prepare or warm up, but there are quite some personal compromises that have to be taken into consideration. The question you have to ask yourself is what are you willing to compromise or what fits best to your specific lifestyle? Is your day mostly busy with work? Would it be easier for you to pump milk and have it ready at any time for your baby?

-Milk has to be carried along

-Leftover milk has to be thrown out

-Baby might develop a upset stomach and gassiness

Bottle feedings allow the mother and father to both contribute to the feeding process of their child and have much more flexibility when it comes to work and other day to day activities. It does take some time to prepare the milk and to warm up formula at times but many mother’s shared that these are small things that become part of your daily routine and you get faster at preparing the more you do it.
